Humpday Covers: Video edition ...plus cool links!
This week, Humpday covers is gonna be a little different. The music I want to share involve a series of videos that I found on youtube. These mash-up's and covers are so unique that you must listen and watch.
The 1st video you need to see is Kutiman (Thru-You's) Mother of All Funk Chords.
This video is made up of only sounds and videos from youtube. If you visit Tru-You's website you can find much more of this creative madness. http://thru-you.com/
The second video/song is done by Pogo. His song "Alice" is a mix of a series of clips from Alice in Wonderland along with sound clips from the movie all mashed together to form a trippy experience that one would normally assume from Alice in Wonderland. Visit pogo's last.fm page at http://www.last.fm/music/Pogo/_/Alice
Finally, This last clip is something that has been going around for a while but its awesome.
Here is Paul Dateh and Inka One performing their hip-hop violin masterpiece.
This masterpiece is comprised of covers of :
- A Tribe Called Quest: Check the Rhime
- Jurassic 5: Canta de Ossanha
- Ghostface Killah: Chercez la Ghost
- The Roots: The Next Movement
- Gnarls Barkley: Crazy
