Humpday Covers Presents: The White Stripes

This Humpday get your cover fix featuring The White Stripes:

A lot of people know of the White Stripes due to their popularity of the song "Seven Nation Army". There was a lot of flack against the White Stripes but founding member Jack White really is the main creative force in the band. Jack White has been in at least three new bands within the last four years, all of which have their own distinct sound and catchy tunes. Many of his bands have covered a variety of artists; however, it had never occurred to me that the White Stripes would have covered Country idol Dolly Parton.

The White Stripes transform the hit "Jolene" into a hard rocking, falsetto reaching, lament.
